| Ok Ishareflowers (Lisa) and I have been chatting over email about this swap. And we would like to do a wishlist swap. People will be able to list up to 20 of their most wanted seeds and then others can hopefully fulfill thoses wishes. And swaps need to have guide lines. And so here are ours.
1. Please limit the wishlist to 20 items. 2. Please list them on this message so all can see. 3. Is there no limit to how many wishes you can fulfill 4. There is no guarentee that someone may have all of what you want. But someone should have at least 1 of you wishes. 4. HAVE FUN Ok this is how it will work since Lisa (Ishareflowers) is better known here than me the packages will be mailed to her. Now how this goes is we will have enrollment until April 30. That gives us 2 weeks. And then the wishes should be able to reach Lisa by May 15th. And then Lisa will take a week or two depending on how many wishes are sent to her to seperate everything and mail out. So the mail out date for Lisa should be May 29. Now You of course will mail the wishes to Lisa in a bubble envelope or box padded well enough. But you will also need to provide a SASBE with 4-5 stamps. Please I may have over estimated the postage since no wishes are the same so it is best to have them not attached and I am sure Lisa can toss the extra back into the envie before mailing. This is where it gets tricky if you want to be surprised by what you get please post that and hopefully someone who has wish for you will keep mum or if you wanna know what to expect say so, and maybe the person can tell you what they have for you.. Fulfilling a wish.. Ok you can either write for who it is on the seed envie or say put it in a labeled snack baggie or something to that extent. But I want to make the part of seperating everything easy as possible for Lisa. So maybe info on the seed in front and for who it is on the back. That is up to you. I just don't want to have Lisa going back over the list and guessing who it was meant for.
And please let me know if I forgot to mention anything I think it is all covered.

I'll have the packages weighed and if the amount of postage you is over, I'll put the stamps back in your envy. | I worked in two of my smaller beds yesterday. Planted some seeds and checked to see what was popping up. I dont' see my hollyhocks from last year yet...hmmm..deer might have got them. I did move my bleeding heart to inside the fence. The deer ate it last year, I was surprised and pleased to see it coming up again. I'm slowly trying to get rid of all my grass too...bring on the flowers! |

Right now we are just listing our wishlist and then at the end of the sign ups when it time to close out the list Lisa (Ishareflowers) will send everyone her address and then all the seeds will go to her in a bubble envelope and then she will sort out who gets what. It would help her out if the person the seeds are meant for are clearly marked. And then she will send back the envies full of wishes. As for now we have not decided if we want anyone to list what they are sending so it will be a nice surprise instead of the dreaded bills arriving in your mail. Ishareflowers-------Lisa

| Hi Kym, I hope you start to feel better soon! Are you sure there isn't something that your looking for? Maybe just that one that you couldn't get your hands on in another swap. I've been home for about a month now and have been ordering seeds like crazy! I'm sure that I'll be sorry when the old credit card bill comes in..lol so far, I have about 30 wishes! I may only be able to send 5 or 10 seeds of each but it's a chance to get them started and save seeds for more plants next year. It's raining here today so I think I'll start packing up seeds and labeling them this afternoon. | WOW, I take the night off and we have three new people! Hello and welcome ashcraft,uptres and Lady. It's nice to have you join in on the fun. I spent two hours yesterday packing seeds for the swap. I had at least two items from everyones lists. Please remember that 90% of these are commercial from the past month so some only have 5 seeds but should at least get you started. I ordered so many seeds that I don't know if I can come up with a top 20. I'll certainly try but I may have less than 20. I'll email everyone my addy on May,1st so that envies may be sent in. | Good Morning all! Lilangel, If you are looking for things that aren't aggresive, you may want to pass on the mint. I planted a 5" pot of chocolate mint last year and it spread to about 2 feet around with shoots as far as three feet away. I'll be clearing some out if you would like a few strands of roots sent along in your envy. let me know I figured that everyone would like extras so I have gone through my seeds and will just toss one packet in each envy until they are gone. As I said earlier, I would have a hard time choosing 20 wishes for myself. I ordered over $300 dollars in seeds in the last month or so. SOOO... here is my wish list Lisa's wish list....... 1-20 your favorite annual and/or perennial. I plan on expanding a bed and making it just a garden web friends bed. I already have some from the xmas swap to put in there but will need more to fill it in nicely. I don't expect everyone to send to me so please don't feel like you have to send something in for me! IF, you have enough of your favorite I would love to have it. If not, that's okay too! It's supposed to be nice out here in MA, gotta go get my housework done so I can go outside and play. | Lilangel, I'm told if it's in a pot it will creep out the bottom, it spreads by runners. I pulled it all out today and threw it across the street. I'll did it out and pot up a few pieces and you can decide later whether you want it or not. Shasta, Anyone can send in extras, I will take all extras and drop them one at a time into each envy until they are gone. Does this way of handling extras sound fair to everyone? Ok ladies we need to see your wishlist. Ok now for extras. You can either send them already sorted or toss them in and Lisa can sort them. Maybe have the wishes you are going to fulfill in snack bags or whatever labeled and then make one for those who you don't have anything from their wishlist with the extras in it. That way Lisa just has to drop the whole baggie in the returning envies. I am trying to make this as easy as possible for us and for Lisa. Like I am going to be using the zip close sandwich bags with the names of who they are for in the middle and my name on the bottom. And I will also be starting up a new thread once Lisa has recieved everyone's envies that way we can post who recieved what plus it lets us know that everyone has recieved their envies back. | Good Morning all! Pauala, I agree with the sorting of the seeds. Please put the gw name on the seed packets that are intended for a specific person so that they will go into their envy right away. I'll take a bowl or a paper bag and throw all the extras(please have these seperate in a baggy) into it as they come in until all envies have been received. Then I'll just toss one seed packet into each bag until they are gone. I will NOT be taking any of the extras that come in. I'm trying to get rid of my extras. Okay, Let's play a game! When my son was born 18 years ago, he was the nameless child for a few days. I wanted to name him Cory or after his dad,dad said no way. We finally agreed upon Derrick which I came up with from staring at my hubbies name...... What's my husbands name? This will either be way too easy or way too hard. Guess away......... Lisa

| Hi, I'm so sorry for the delay on posting. I love flowers that attract butterflys and birds. I do have alot of perennials, so I would prefer annual flower seeds and vegetable seeds, any rare or unusal is great and I'm looking for reds, pinks and burgundys colors as well. Now this is getting really interesting. I have most of the wishes on my end ready to go. I hope no one is disappointed by the choice of seeds. There were a few list that I did not have anything on it and so I just gathered up some extras that I thought they would like. Let's just say I can easily give everyone at least 20 different seeds not from the wishlist but I did make a cut off number. Which was 12 so not that bad. As in total sent not from just extras. |

Glad to have you in the group, and yes,I'll be using the envy that the seeds are sent in with. I don't see a need for two bubblies. If you have return addy labels that's great, if not, I have some here. Does anyone object to sending in cash for their return envy? I was just looking at a new seed swap and it was brought up about trying to make the right postage for the ride back out of stamps and how it can be a pain in the neck. Of course, I would return any extra money in your return envy. If you want a conformation number for the ride home please add that to the envy too when you mail it to me. Thanks, |

| Annie, My addy is the same as you have on file and I updated my seed list. Laura, I'm not sure that a 6x9 envy will be large enough. I would say 2.50 or 3.oo in stamps and an 8x10 bubble envy from the dollar store plus $1 if you want delivery confirmation for the ride home. I just want to say that I will mail back ANY extra money or stamps sent in. Lisa |

| Hi all - Finishing up getting all of my seeds together - I hope to have them in the mail tomorrow morning. I came across some Snapdragon 'Tetra Mixed Colors' in my seed box.
