    Hi All,
I got Sue G's bot on its way. I have a DC# just not on me.

    Maryanne,
That's what Gary had last night! I had crab claws. I also made turnip greens with sweet red pepper fried up and then Italian bread crumbs and parmesan cheese. Yum!

    Shirley,
I'll guess you made my dinner that I just ate. Grilled steak with fried onions, beans, and bread.

I'm making DH read these posts..he thinks I'm losing my mind losing all the knives. Sometimes I've thought maybe Hannah or someones dog finds them and carries them off, you would think I could find them sooner or later.

OK we need to make it a little easier and everyone can guess again.

Maryanne feel free to guess on this as well.

    Be more specific
    Meat ?
    Beans ?
    Veg ?

Maryanne - The hot dogs and beans is what I had last night. The hot dogs and beans are really quick and that was what I needed.

I'm afraid I had to do a couple of substitutions--the lavender, geranium-Carol, and hosta-Big Mama had bit the dust....well, actually, they drowned. BUT, I think you will be okay with what I sent in their place. I think I added an extra plant, too. Hope you like it all, and it arrives in good condition. I really pushed to get it out today since tomorrow we are to be in a 'heat advisory.' Hoping the box can stay one step ahead of the heat.

    Mary Ellen,
My box from you came today! I got home and I saw a box on the chair and was wondering what it could be. I forgot a box from you was coming LOL. So it was really nice surprise!
I don't know how you fit everything into the box! Thank you. The hosta and Geranium switches were fine with me. The one Hosta looks very cute, Golden Friendship. I wanted Purple Pillow Geranium so thank you!(I can't read the name of the other geranium that I wrote, but it looked very cute.)
Thank you also for switching out the Strawberry Candy Daylily for Lady ?(I can't read my writing and now it is dark out there, lol) since you know I had that one.
You somehow got a Weeping Forythia in the box! Oh and the Lilac looks great!
    Thank you so much!!

    SUE G.!
While I was in the garage getting stuff to pot up what I received, what do I find? The newspaper with all the Sedum pieces in it!! I somehow left it out of the box!!! I'm so sorry. I feel so dumb. I purposely put together a bunch of low growers for you, and you didn't get them! I'll have to mail you out a little box of them.

Just got back from MO trip. No computer so happy to see here that you got your box, Remy. I believe the geranium was "Memories." AND, the daylily was Lady Eva. I bought a half-dozen of those as that is pretty close to the name/nickname of our grandbaby-to-be.

We head to MN this coming week-end to help the 'kids' move into the house they bought. They just closed on it last week so they have been busy painting the baby's room and their bedroom. Can't wait to see the house. Of course, I will be taking plants to share. :)

    Nice boxes being exchanged!

I just received the most WONDERFUL box from Miss Sue! It was so big, it took 2 kids to carry it. :) And MERCY, I just about fell out of my chair when I saw how much it cost to mail! Prices are getting ridiculous!!

I tried to keep track of everything as I unwrapped them, but I had 4 little helpers (the girls helped me...the boys couldn't have cared less- they know they're going to be recruited to help plant later on! LoL!) so I didn't get everything written down. But everything looks great, nothing is wilted! Which was SO surprising, considering the heat!
I know there were 2 mini roses, red & blue salvia, many daylilies, 6 succulents, dianthus, lantana, rosemary & lavender. The rosemary & lavender made the box smell SOOOO good! If I've forgotten to mention anything, please forgive me!

Thank you SO MUCH, Miss Sue! You outdid yourself with a WONDERFUL box, and I absolutely LOVE everything!

    Hi!
Sue just emailed me. She had to have emergency surgery! I told her to mail to me when she's feeling better.

WOW! I just thought she was super, crazy busy with her daughters wedding coming up...

Please, everyone send her your happy thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.

    ((((HUGS))))
