Hi Mariann, sorry you couldn't play and your garden is suffering, I know what you mean I'm having the same thing. I'm almost afraid to play and get plants because it's too hard to keep them alive in this heat and rain.
I read in another forum that coffee and coffee grounds will keep slugs at bay, so I tried it and it seems to work real well for me, see if that will help with the slugs at least.

Everyone else HAVE FUN STEALING, OOPS! I mean swapping boxes today.

I went to a Lia Sophia party last night. I saw people that I haven't seen since high school,that's 27 years for those of you who don't know. I posted the minute that I got in the door! I really didn't think that that theiving Deb would steal another box from me. What's wrong with stealing a box from Tracy,huh huh! I need to get that box back and can't until someone steals it from her!

I'm working today until 1 soooo, if my box gets stolen AGAIN, I won't be checking in until shortly after that.

Mariann, so sorry to hear about your gardens! I know the rabbits did me in this year too, it is depressing isn't it. I do have them under control now with some spray and the neighbors got a new cat the thinks she lives here. I hope you don't loose a lot and that stuff comes back for you! Hopefully the sun will start shining for you and get rid of some of the pests!

OMG, I am so torn between which box I want and all this is just so confusing Vic I have to tend to agree with you, we should just go play amongst ourselves. They can come get us IF they ever get to us lol.

I do feel better today but since I have NO idea what it was that had me in the first place I am taking it easy and NOT DOING MUCH at all today, esp. NOTHING to make me hot, I'm afraid I might have set-back and I felt bad enough as it was!

YES ANNIE, I AM NOT an iris person. THEN Last year you sent me some. THOSE were the only ones I had, BUT I looked them up liked them and because they came from you I would have kept them reqardless of whether I had actually liked them or not BUT since then for some reason EVERYONE has started sending me irises, I THINK it is because I listed one or two you had sent me and now ppl think I want them LOL.
I DO like the rebloomers and I love the double colored ones, and the more unusual colors of them, the only reason I am not really into them is once they have bloomed they're done and tend to get ugly LOL.
BUT don't get me wrong, I do love some of the colors of them as a matter of fact because of you I have started given them a second chance. My mom has a beautiful white one and the bloom was HUGE on it, I told her I was going to get some of it because I saw how big the bloom was, so yes you have turned me around on irises!!!
THEY WERE my least favorite plant, but because of you I have given them to consideration! SOOO, how does THAT make you feel lady? LOL, I'm a convert because of YOU hehe!!!
AND, if you want to through in some of what you offered last in the box you are planning on sending my way please feel free to add, heck I can't even think of what it was now..good grief, I think my brain is fried from all this commotion!
