NEW: cutting swap

hello

I wanted to start a quick swap of tender plant cuttings. we are having a frost tonight so I cut off all my coleus and sweet potato vines. now I have buckets of cuttings in the laundry room.

I have some very nice coleus, some named but I lost the tags, but there are black dragon, and reds, oranges, peaches, kewi leaf, and just lots of realy colorfull and unusual leaf shapes. I also have some great sweet potatos vines one that has chartruce leafs when they are new and they turn red when they get older, all chartruce, dark red, and oak leafed, maybe several others.

for the swap I would like:

- no more than 4 people

- you must have many cuttings to send

- I will send to all 4

- all 4 will send to me

- if you want to send to more than one person, just post how many small boxes of cuttings you want to send out.

my box will have at least 20 diffrent kinds of plants at. I would like good sized trades in exchange.

I want to do this fast to get some of them moved out, I will be ready to ship next tuesday.

isan't there anyone else that wants to trade a box of easy to root cuttings. how about sending me a few plants for a box of cuttings I want to send these out on tuesday. evan maybe a large seed trade, I realy don't want to just toss these cuttings.

is it too late, do you have cuttings left or have they been tossed? just found this post today. I have several begonias, geraniumns,lantums, and impatians. Maybe a few other things, can't think right now, but I would love to try to winter over some colus. email me if you are interested. Janet

bigmama - I have not gotten any info from you, did you have any cuttings to trade? most of mine are gone.

janet1 - I don't have very many left, I did not have anywhere to keep them all that is why I wanted to ship these out right a way, I gave most of them to one of our local schools, they will be using them for a sicence experiment.

sorry this has not worked out I realy needed to ship them on tuesday I had to give most away becouse they were just stuffed in buckets and would have rotted.
