Let's Get This Party Started!!!!!

So,sign ups are over and the swap/fun has officially begun! I am positive we all are in for a real treat again this year! :)

Ok,Please only use this thread for access to the clickables. Once it starts to go down the page, we can give it a bump here and there to keep it handy.Please keep all swap related conversation in the threads started by Patty.

She receives emails each time there is a post so she can reply as quickly as possible. If you post here she will likely not see it right away!:)

Swap Basics....

General:

~ If you do not mind doubles/multiples,let Patty know.

~ All seeds must be from want lists,so when requesting a seed,be sure you add it to your want list.

~You receive as many packs as you send in.20=20,100=100,ect...

~ No roots,cuttings or plants. Arrangements for these can be made outside of the swap.

~Please email only those that are on the "I don't mind" list with requests.

~ Do not request more seed than you are sending in.

Packing:

~You can send in up to 250 packs.

~Some people mark the packs individually with the players gw id and swap#,some will pack all the seeds for each player into separate baggies,envelopes or some other dependable means of keeping them together,and mark each bunch with the players id and #. Patty is fine with both ways. It does make it easier on her if they are separated before she receives them,she can then put each bunch into each players bag,that she has ready for the seeds, marked with their swap #. Please be sure that whatever way you choose to do it,they are marked with both the gw id and swap #. I personally like to mark each individual pack and separate them into sandwich bags marked with the id and #.

It is not a requirement,but I personally love to know who I received my seeds from,so please be open to marking your packs with your gw id. I would love to thank a few people for some great seeds I received last year that turned into awesome plants,but I don't have a clue to who sent them!

~ Seeds sent in because they were requested should be marked as so by the sender. This ensures they will go into the appropriate envy. Otherwise,the person receiving the request may have only sent in 50 packs and 150 could have been sent in for them.To be sure that the requested seed is one of the 50 they receive, be sure they are marked.

~ Please mark seeds you have requested with a # on your want list,of course this only includes seed you know for sure you are getting.This does not take the seed out of the game,just makes it easier on some of us to make decisions on which seeds we send.

~Year of harvest/purchase is to be included on each pack along with the seed name. Any details you may feel are important can also be included,this is optional.

~No seeds older than'07. Please be aware certain seeds could possibly be no good if they are not fresh.So please be sure when sending in older seed that they do not fall into that group.

~Pack at least 6 seeds for larger or less common seed.

~Commercial seed is ok.

~ Although it is a very nice gesture to pack each persons seeds in some adorable way before sending them off to Patty, it really isnt recommended. She feels terrible every time she has to tear one open to go through the seeds.

Mailing:

~Mail seeds to Patty at the address she provided via email.

~ Please mail no later than 11-25-09,it would be great if we could keep this on schedule and get the seeds mailed back out to you as quickly as possible!:)

~ Enclose as much postage as it costs you to mail it to Patty,for the return trip. Add 75 cents if you would like Delivery Confirmation (DC#)

~Make sure you include a return address label with your address on it.

~Mail seeds in a bubble envelope addressed to Patty with your return address.
