My list, in no particular order: Parsnips (fresh seed, please, as 1 year old + may not germinate) I can't wait to start filling some wishes. It's the join of giving at this time of year. | I feel like my list is a bit "picky" so I apologize for that. I have been contending with heat, drought, rabbits, and deer --- so not easy to grow things the past few years. Much of what I plant for 2011 will be in containers or in a very limited area so I can water that one place really well every day. If you have a recommendation for me other than weeds and invasives, consider it added to my list. LOL 'Joey' Lamb's Tail Looking forward to all the fun! |

| Hi Kym! I was surprised to see this swap posted already, since I haven't really started thinking about Christmas yet, but this is one of my favorite swaps, so sign me up. Margo (Smitties), you asked about how to decide who to send to when you can't send to everyone that you have items for. The names in the hat isn't a bad idea! The way I did it last year though, was to make a list of everyone that I could fill wishes for, and then I started with the ones that I had several items on their list. Then, I moved on to people that I had something for on their list that was unique or unusual, that I thought they might not receive from others. If I only had one or two items on someone's list, and they were very common seeds, I was hoping someone else would fill those wishes if I couldn't. Anyway, hope this helps! So here is my wishlist: Any red, or yellow Petunia Wow, it was hard to come up with a list this year!!! Bonnie |

Since I'm playing "Santa" at the moment, I'm gonna make you wait until you get your prize in the mail to find out what you've won...muhahahaha, or should I say... muhohohoho??? (having a "nightmare before christmas" moment there...) And, if you would, once you receive it, would you please post it here on the swap thread so everyone can "watch" you open your gift? | Keiki, I am making seed paper which is not the same as seed tape. If you send me an e-mail I will be happy to give you information about some websites that have very good instructions. Margaret |
|
| Keiki I tried seed paper today...not sure how the tape works. I blended some paper and water in my blender, poured the mix into a sink with a frame that had a screen stretched over. then I sprinkled seeds and flower leaves on top. I removed from water. then flipped over on towel then pressed with a sponge to get more water out. Seems easy but I am not doing the best job. We will see how the paper looks when dry. |
|
| Please count me in too. Here is my list: scarlet runner bean |

| This is probably gonna earn me some coal in my stocking, but I'll risk it. This game is open to everyone. Here are 30 song titles, and your job is to be the first person to correctly post all 30 titles. Each day I will post an update with 1 letter of the alphabet in its correct place within the titles, so be checking back here daily! The first person to correctly post all 30 titles in their correct order will win a music CD with all of the songs on it. There will be no second prize. Anyone involved with this swap, excluding only myself, may try to win. So, get out your thinking caps, play yourself some Christmas music, and have fun!!! I'll be back with the letter "w" tomorrow! MUHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO!!!!! -Dan |
