OK, now I'm really stumped. I can't even think of an appropriate question at this point.

The only things I can think of are footed PJ's (footies) and nightshirts. But, both of those are available in adult sizes.

Okay, I just looked through this whole thread (swap), and Maryann's only posting is that she wanted to join this swap, back on the 20th of November. Do we still consider her a part of this or not? My gut instinct is to send this box on Amelia, thus continuing the swapcircle, and making sure Amelia gets her box, skipping Maryann. What says the hostess and group? Is this what I should do???

Well, I actually have her address. We've traded in the past. Have you e-mailed her? If I remember correctly, it was 2 or 3 days between e-mails.

Amelia, good suggestion! I just sent her a note, asking for her address and if everything is okay. With the holidays like they are, they can be pretty hectic. I'm hoping she's just been a bit busy. Hopefully we'll find out soon.

I e-mailed her also. Found out it was actually me that had caused a delay --- about 3 weeks! I was working on the trade with Maryann when I was hospitalized in late August. She was extremely patient and very understanding, especially since I just disappeared for a couple of weeks.

Dan, I second the idea to give Maryann some time to reply. Then go ahead and send to Amelia if she doesnt. Ive traded with her a few times and shes always been very good about responding.

The 20 questions answer IS feety-pajamas, and Ive never seen them in adult sizes. Where have yall seen them? Way to go April and Amelia! Do you guys want another round?

I've been forced to find these. My daughter insists on a pair of footed pajamas every year. As she grew up, I had to search to find them. (She's 22 now; need to order a pair for her Christmas.)

When I was little I always had feeties to sleep in, otherwise Id kick the socks off in my sleep. I outgrew my last pair when I was about 6 or 7... Next month Ill be 25, and my toes are always freezing so I know how your daughter feels! Ive taken to wearing big sweater-like socks around the house, though.

Try wearing a crocheted or knitted cap. It will keep your feet warm better than socks.

I just received an e-mail from Maryann and she's been taking care of some family stuff (I'll let her go into details if she wishes) and should be back this weekend. She's looking forward to still participating in this swap, which is a good thing. Sometimes it's being in a trade or swap that keeps us going.
And now, I get to go try to deliver the mail in the middle of a blizzard. Oh yeah, what fun.

Glad to hear that Maryann is OK. Stay warm Dan! I cant imagine what its like up north. Here in mid-Michigan its a wind chill of 0 degrees and blowing snow, and the whole state is under a weather warning of some kind or other!

Amelia, how does a cap keep my feet warm? I just have poor circulation to my feet, and they used to turn a lovely shade of purple. Dont worry though, the doc says occasional purple is OK. :)

Laura, the snow is a good moist one up here right now, perfect for building a snowman! After four days at work, I'm pushing up against the overtime horizon, so tomorrow I only have to work 5 hours, and then I'm off until Monday morning. Cool, eh? I just might get out and play in the snow, after sleeping about 24 hours if the kids let me!

Amelia, I'm going to take a wild guess here, but does the cap help because it helps keep in your body heat? I know that we lose most of our body heat through our head. Now, my solution to the whole "keeping warm" thing is to walk over and turn up the thermostat. I know that's not very "green" of me, but it certainly is appreciated by my houseplants! I've got some raspberry-colored geraniums I brought indoors which are blooming, so I must be doing something right, you think? LOL!

Amelia, I tied a large scarf/ bandana over my head last night and my feet stayed warm. That is such a cool trick!! I woke up to Rufus chewing on the ends of my scarf though. I swear that cat has Pica or something!

Not sure about everyone else, but I've been losing myself in my new Thompson & Morgan seed catalog. I've decided to only make one order this year, and it'll probably happen this weekend, and it's looking like it's going to be a BIG one! 'Tis the best way I know to beat the winter blues when dealing with the blizzard that's going on right now outside. BRRRRR!!!
