But doesn't look like Susan will be picking until around 10 pm tonight, so you have time to go back and look at everyone's gifts again that are left. They are all good packages! Faye-It looks like I am sending to Tn. I decorate sleighs, sleds and lanterns so I wanted to include one in my box. Could not figure out a safe way to mail one though. They have to stay upright and Lord only knows how it would get kicked around.

I was so sorry to read that the surgery on your foot did not turn out as planned. I can imagine how disappointed you are after going through all that pain and not being able to get around as you like.
Ruth, this has been a fun swap. I'm rather glad to be on the frozen list. I'll look tomorrow to see who gets the other gifts.
I posted this on FOTESS so some have probably already read this. Three weeks ago I hurt my hand and one finger in particular was really swollen and bruised, but I could move it and figured it was a sprain. I finally went to the doctor on Thursday because it was still a bit swollen and still hurting a little. It turns out it was broken. They sent me to an orthopaedist who put this huge splint on it that went almost to my elbow and from there down over my fingertips. I went again on Friday and saw my usual orthopaedist and he had them take all of that off and now I just have that finger taped to the one next to it. So thankful. Dealing with a hurt finger was one thing, but with that huge split I wouldn't have been able to do much to get ready for Christmas. I coudln't even buckle my seat belt with it on!
Well, I've been busy most of the day so I'm going to sit and put ice on the places that need it. :-)

Thanks everyone I love arranging them and now have around 25 to display. When I go to Christmas cookie parties and we play the gift exchange game I always take one as my gift.

Jeanne-Sorry to hear about your finger. I am still on my knee scooter, pushing around on one leg. I found an orthopedic surgeon that I want to look at my foot and see what went wrong with the first surgery. I wish I had chosen him to do the surgery to start with. I try to stay upbeat and not get depressed but so hard. Glad your Dr. took all that off and you can move and function somewhat.

I am wrapped like a mummy. I'm having a 48 hour holter monitor to watch my heart rate. It isn't beating like it should. Whether it's very bad or not, we'll see. But oh, the tape they put on me will make sores, I'm already itching and going crazy! Those monitor things always make blisters and sores on my skin, so by Monday morning it will be no fun after take them off. I'll have sores for a week or more. But thankful every day that I wake up and am feeling better enough to do a few thing. Still need to finish my shopping and will probably do that this week. '
I hope everyone else is done. I usually am by now, but that pneumonia takes awhile to get my energy back, but thankful daily it isn' t worse and I am getting better.
My youngest grandson is in the play at church tomorrow night. I am very excited to see it. Can't wear my prosthetic bra with all this stuff taped all over my chest , but going anyway. Will wear a loose jacket and hope nobody stares too much, but thankful to be alive, so I don't mind the stares and what people think! I am a survivor and they can look all they want! lol! I thank God daily for my many blessings even when feels like somedays you don't have any. But stop and count them and you'll be surprised.
