Back by popular demand!!! It's time again for my annual Acres Edible Seed Swap. This will the 9th year I do this swap. I enjoy it so much I hope to be able to do it for another 30 or 40 years. Ha Ha!! Last year around 50 people and over 2000 seed packages were involved and a lot of fun was had by all . NOW THE RULES All seeds must produce edibles. (veggie, herbs and fruit found in an edible garden). If you are unsure if its edible please ask.
Sorry for all the rules it just makes a better and more organized swap and a lot easier if rules are involved. With only my self doing the swap as much information I can get is the best. Acres Please post here if interested and I will email you my postal address. Also please be sure your email is on your Garden web page so I can email you directly. So times there are issues with contacting through the site.

I wanted to make a couple side notes regarding this swap. * This swap is for heirloom and hybrids both. * This swap is for commercial and hand gathered seeds both. * Ornamental seeds are welcome to this swap. Just don’t go to crazy and send in seeds like super fancy triple pink guava seeds that take 3 months to germinate. * I will be still doing my Annual Acres Tomatoes and Pepper Seed Swap. It is a swap for tomatoes and peppers only and hybrid seeds are welcome. If you just want heirloom tomatoes. I know Christy and Becky are doing an awesome all Heirloom Totally Tasty tomato swap and they both put on great swaps. If any one emailed me regarding this swap and I did not reply please let me know. Also if your name is not on the list below please let me know. I love doing these swaps and Nooo I did not fall off the face of the earth… lol I just have been busy. Hubby got me a new sewing machine for Christmas and I just made up my first project on it a rag fray quilt tote. Oh it is sure cute. | Howdee got one more mailer from Patti with a great selection of seeds. What a mess this last week has been the place where I put my home made soap, bath products and crafts in were broken into. They took so much of my stuff I have been pretty busy making stuff to replace it. Its nice to have a site like this to but my mind off of it. | So sorry to hear about the robbery Purple. That's just awful! All the work, effort & supplies gone. I had my apartment broken into in college. They dumped every single drawer of mine out into the middle of the floor. Stole my tv and my roommates stereo. Anyway, concentrating on the swap will be a good thing! |

| Howdee I have so far received 24 mailers packed full of great seeds. I am noticing some of the seed counts are very low in some of the packs. Please keep an eye on that for further reference. I will do my best to make my swaps very fair. I have to say that monday would be the last day to sign up. The dead line for me to recieve seeds is January 31 so get those mailers in the mail if you have signed up. I keep saying to my self that oh this year is the last year for this swap but always seem to do it another year. I know for sure my guide lines or rules will be more specific next year if there is a next year. | Howdee there Recieved a mailer from Dusty314 , Cybermeowz and ozarkgirl I believe. Its sad to say that the mailer ozark sent in was completely ripped open. That makes 34 mailers so far. | Howdee there I will be sorting seeds this week and should have mailers headed home to you all who sent by the end of the week. As listed in the original post I dont wait for late mailers. (sorry Lindamarie Hope you got my email) I realize this it is a bit rude of me to not wait. So sorry ya missed it there is always next year. Well there should be a next year.
