Agapanthus thrives but no flowers

I planted Agapanthus about six years ago. They were blooming size when I planted them and actually bloomed the first year. I assume that the buds had already formed at the nursery. Since then they have thrived without problems, having lush foliage every year, but they have never bloomed again. IS there some secret to getting them to flower?

my guess would be either too much shade, not enough heat or fertilization

They are in full sun. I'll try feeding them more this year.
