Anyone know the specie in the opening page pic? i know it's an orchid but can';t identify it. thanks

Hi Gary,
It's Ansellia africana.
A pity it is such an awful colour, it's a beautiful epiphytic orchid with yellow petals with more or less brown spots. Hence the common name 'Leopard Orchid'.

my monitor. Always found green flowers interesting maybe because they are so unusual....Thanks again

Hey Maddy I really like the green petals. Now you disappoint us all and tell us they are actually yellow with brown spots.
