| I was delighted when I saw flower spikes on my young Watsonia latifolia, I honestly thougt they were too small to flower - only a year from seed.
Well the first flower finally opened this morning - and it's definately not a Watsonia, it's Fressia laxa alba. Lovely yes, but as I already have masses of these I was really dissapointed, I am nor closely watching two other species of Watsonia that are budding up - I have the feeling that they are also going to be Fressia (syn. Anomatheca).
