Drimia bulb info?

I have a bulb, label only says Drimia sp. Somalia. There does not seem to be much info out here on the web about them. I got mine last September, the leaves kind of drooped withered and died after the next few weeks. It has just woken up after a good long slumber. I have it in light shade here in Central Texas and it seems ok so far, but I hoped someone might have some cultivation tips for me or any habitat info. It has leaf coloration very similar to a Manfreda maculata with long pointed strappy leaves which I hope to be able to photograph in a couple of weeks. I realize Somalia is not in S.A., but some of the leads indicated that related species may be found there?

Silverhill seeds is probably the most knowleadgeable outfit on SA bulbs. Try emailing them.

Here is a link that might be useful: Silverhill
