Care of Sarcocaulon vanderietiae

I've been growing these for a couple of yrs. and still no flowers have developed. I have them in 1/2 turface with 1/2 organic mixture. I water them and fertilize. The green house is about 90 degrees in the summer here in Iowa. I keep them watered lightly in the winter. How can one make them flourish plus bloom. What is the best way to propagate them? What type of mixture is the best for root formation?
Thanks
Chris

Have you tried to build a special irrgation system for them? i know these can be complex but it could help to keep them properly watered.
