 o
watsonia seed question

I planted a few watsonia 2 falls ago and they have grown well and bloomed for two years. This year, I let one of them set seed to see what I would get. My question is - how do I know when to pick the seeds? I've been waiting for them to turn brown, but right now the pods are a orange color. And then -- what do I do with them -- I'm guessing to plant in the fall, but would really appreciate any advice I can get.

Thanks,
JR

Wait until the pods turn brown and start to split, the seeds will be ripe then. I sow the seeds as soon as they are harvested, they always germinate well.
