I got some cuttings of Osteospermum from a friend at the weekend. Anyone have any tips on getting them to root?

Here's an interesting discussion about it. Seems they are hard to root...

I have great luck with just sticking the cuttings in water and having them root. I have many, many plants that have come from just one purple osteospermum plant that I bought years ago.
