Afrocarpus falcatus germination

I just received some seeds From SA and all the info says to remove the fleshy covering. Aparently I think it has already been done because all I see is the hard covering with tubercles. Do I need to just soak them then plant them? I broke one open and it seems fresh- still moist and light colored and sort of the texture of a nut. One site said to soak them in saltwater first. I would be grateful if anyone could help me.

you'll find more infomation on the SANBI's www.plantzafrika.com website under podocarpus falcatus. good luck! I"d be interested to hear how it turns out -- never tried it myself.
