How About Those Warm Climate Bulbs?

Hi Gang,

I have to agree with the idea that a separate forum on SA bulbs is not in the interest of the SA Native Plants forum, and would just duplicate (there is a current thread discussing such).

But, I do think a new forum on the Bulbs for Warm Climates would be useful. Such a forum would include bulbs/tubers/geophytes from all continents that don't tolerate much frost, generally speaking.

How do we even know if the powers that be at "The GardenWeb" see our discussions and consider these ideas? Anyone want to volunteer to see if such a forum could even be set up--theoretically at least? What types of criteria must be met?

Cordially,

Conroe Joe

Joe:

I emailed the Webmaster directly suggesting the SA bulbs forum. He was the one who told me that this should be discussed in the "Suggestions and Comments" forum, and he will then take it under consideration. So I then posted my suggestion there. Since the SA bulbs forum discussion generated the "Warm Climate Bulbs" possibility, perhaps a followup discussion about this in the S&C forum would bring it to his attention?

Here is a link that might be useful: Suggestions & Comments Forum
