Hi

Has anyone propogated the Buffalo Thorn, Ziziphus mucronata? All my sources do not specify whether to plant the seed in the fruit or to remove the seeds from the fruit. Any advice?

Charles

Crack open the fruit carefully so as not to damage the seeds inside. A normal nutcracker works and remove the seed then cover with boiling water allow to cool soak for two days and then sow. They germinate very quickly. Plus minus one week.
