Can you add a bit more on the soils in the garden; aspect, natural water - when does it rain - and how much? Prickles or not? Size. Growth rate. Architectural or part of a set piece? Availabilty - access to suppliers. Whether it has to be specifically South African - or whether something generally African - or even Australian would fill the space.

(It's a pleasure to help plant up someone else's space without having to do the spade work!!!)

Sorry "vetivert8",that i did not answer you before,(i was lie down on the S.A beaches!!),i do appreciate your humour,so rare on many forum....
Concerning my garden ,it's a mediterranean climate(zone 9),and in fact i don't care,if the tree or shrub is Australian,S.A,or from somewhere else,i am just looking for an original shape!
So if you could give me some indications,it would be nice!
phil
