Protea Clarkes Red

| I have just planted a protea 'Clarkes Red' which I have kept in a 2 inch pot for nearly a year and neglected but which still appears to be in good condition. Now that I have planted it what care should I give it? Should it be fertilised? I suspect this plant needs little attention because of its past treatment, but this being my fist attempt to grow a protea , I would appreciate more experienced gardeners comments. |
