what kind of salvia is this?

| I received this salvia in a garden swap. I love it! Someone wants to know what kind of salvia it is, can you help? You can click on the photo to make it larger.

| Hard to tell, even in the enlarged image, because of the distance from the flower spike. It looks like Salvia nemerosa `East Friesland' or some other variety of this hybrid. |

| Hi Annette, I did a google image search on salvia verticillata 'purple rain' and YES I'm pretty sure that's it. THANK YOU. It's a wonderful long blooming, low maintenance salvia |
