Is Lady in Red native to my area?

Hi all, I have just gotten seeds for S. coccinea 'Lady in Red' from a generous fellow member of the winter sowing forum. I know Lady in Red is native to Texas & I see maps that show S. coccinea native to TX, LA & a band of states over to South Carolina.

S. coccinea is native, but is there any way to find out if Lady in Red is native to Louisiana & to my section of Louisiana?

At dianeseeds.com there are separate pages for Lady in Red and S. coccinea, see below, so I can't figure it out. Not buying, just looking for info there. Thanks in advance!

Maps at USDA, wildflower.org (Lady Bird Johnson Ctr), everwilde.com, easywildflowers.com & www.wildseedfarms.com.

Here are links that may be helpful:
