Salvia Splendens--Lady in Red

This salvia died back this winter will it come back this spring?

I have a splendens Sangria that I over wintered in the garage, not sure what the coldest temp got to in there but outside 24* was the lowest. Watch for new growth and protect it from frost.

Hmm... mine somehow managed to survive this winter, but alot of it became dead wood. Last week I cut it all out and left the green parts. No blooms yet, just a green branch about 10 inches high.

The jury is still out on mine. I am keeping watch.

Boy March came in like a lion here in southeast Alabama today. We don't have the snow and ice but even with the sun shinning the wind will nearly blow you over.
