Salvia ID Help Please

Hi! So I am in USDA Z9 (in California) and this salvia has had basically no frost damage (despite 15 degree F nights) and has been blooming all year when pretty much no others around here have been blooming like it. The leaves are slightly fuzzy with wavy margins. The stems and leaves are slightly sticky. It is very drought tolerant. It is about 2 feet tall right now.

I have never seen any variation whatsoever in this species. Have grown hundreds from seed - all are basically identical. So no, there are not clones of this with varietal names.

So it seems that this salvia is actually S. disermas alba. Has anyone worked with them?
