| I bought a packet of seeds from a company called "Seeds of Change". The packet only says "Salvia Nemorosa" -- it's not broken down further into a particular variety. Does this likely mean that it's some kind of "species" form? Does anyone know what it looks like? The seeds are sprouting up like crazy in my greenhouse and I'm trying to figure out where I'd put it... I love "May Night" and I'm hoping this might be very similar.
Thanks! |

| Salvia nemerosa is a species...but..it is one that has many cultivars. I grow S. nemerosa 'Amethyst' which grows 4' tall and about 2' wide if it is not allowed to sprawl. There also are shorter cultivars. I have photos of three S. nemerosa cultivars in the photo album below. SG |
