I live in SE mich(zone 5) would like to know which salvia/sage to put in pots for hummingbirds--anyone know which is irisistable to hummers and would do well in pots--direct sunlight also---thanks--ED

Several will work.

Salvia guaranitica
S. guaranitica 'Black and Blue'
S. chiapensis -They will fight over this one.
S. buchananii
S. greggi - cultivars
S. microphylla - cultivars
S. coccinea 'Coral Nymph'
S. coccinea 'Lady In Red'
S. elegans 'Honey Melon'
