new to salvia

SO, I bought A tray of salvia . I came here to look for care help but geez , it seems there are so many different kinds. All I know about mine is they are red and pretty.Just the usual you see in the box stores.Can you tell me about saving the seed, or do they make seed. Thanks in advance, Gladys
