| It appears to be since all one I planted last year have returned with a vengeance. They should be open their first blooms in the next couple of days. |

| Yes it is. Just today I noticed the first Stampede flowers. Last year I didn't like the series all that much, but maybe I'll change my mind. |

| I was very happy to see a male using the stampede punch series yesterday, that plant is well bloomed. Actually I have three two of the red and one white. I think I will enjoy these guys as do the hummers. How can they resist. |

I have the 2 of the Stampede series(Lavender and Cherry) there looks like some S.microphylla in its breeding so it should be ok in Zone 7b. The breeder (Bodger Seed) is not willing to share any info on the genetic's of this series so most of your S.greggii are ok in 7b. should not be a problem either way!! |
