Thank you for the information keep us posted on the microphylla's and hybrids etc.I had a seedling bloom
for the first time this morning it is a yellow form different from "Moonlight" more vigorous also.I can't wait to see if the seed are viable.

Art, good luck with your new yellow one. I haven't had very much success with the yellow ones for some reason. They all turned out to be too tender.

I thought I had lost a new seedling from 2008 that was very promising. On some thread I mentioned it last year. It has red going to pink flowers that are roughly the same size as Big Pink, in other words huge. It appeared to be a cross between Wild Thing and probably microphylla Neurepia. All the cutting I took last fall failed and I feared the young plant hadn't survived the winter. But this morning there appeared to be the first signs of tiny leaves at its base. What a relief, because I was excited as I've ever been about a new hybrid in the garden.

Another surprise this morning was that a small Neurepia seedling from 2008, slightly redder than the parent, had come through the winter, and is in fact the only Neurepia type to show life so far this year. Perhaps if the Neurepia row fails it would be a reasonable replacement?
