Thanks Penny, will do. I was at my lowes today and they said they will most likely get the B & B in a couple of wks and said they most likely be good size . Using the idea that to pinch them back will make more flowers later should that be done with those too.

I usually pinch unti June and then don't do any pinching out after they fill out and are blooming nicely unless they are looking a bit ratty and then I may just pich a stem or two to keep them looking nice.

The southwestern US Agastaches branch freely at the base when in active growth That is a good sign, since each will form a floral stem later. Note that the floral leaves are longer, narrower, and have less or smaller teeth than the basal ones.
