Mine did, but I started it inside in Feb. and planted it out by April. This was last year. It didn't survive our heavy rains this past Winter and rotted even tho it was in a container :(
Yes, in appropriate conditions. I started some from seed 3 years ago, set them out in late February, and they bloomed heavily the first summer. And ever since then too. They get humongous and self-seed readily too.
I have one in a pot which I kept outside next to the house.I moved it out so it could get more sun, the rain got it and the leaves now show a lot of rust spots. I'm hesitating putting it in the garden. Is this normal for the plant?
