Looking for Pink

Ok, I have fallen in love with salvias. My mom used to always get those red annual salvias and I hated them. Now that I am grown, I have found blue salvias. Black and Blue, Mystic Spires, Blue Hill ... Well, anyway, they are crazy bloomers and look fabulous with my roses and various other perennials and annuals (if they just smelled better!) anyway, I've seen some pictures of the mexican bush sage and was wondering, are there any pink or purple bushy salvias that would bloom well in Z6? I was looking at Big Pink Texas sage and some all purple one. I tend to garden in a cottage-garden look with little to no pesicides/herbicides, ect... so need something hardy and long blooming. I've tried 'Wild Thing' last year but wasn't crazy about it. The flowers just looked like a few floating above the plant, I like the larger panicles of flowers like you see on butterfly bushes, lilacs, mystic spires, ect. I'm looking for something bigger than what I have currently for the back yard and they would be around lilies, daylilies, iris, coneflowers, zinnias, verbena, ect.

I like the size of my S. greggii 'Teresa'. It doesn't have big flowers, however it has many. Mine is about 3 1/2 ft. tall and over 4 ft. wide, growing and blooming amongst a 4-yr.-old buckeye and a rockrose.

Teresa is white with pink stripes, but doesn't bloom in panicles. Pinks are usually greggii.... ah but, Salvia chiapensis can be pink; and there is always Salvia involucrata "Mulberry Jam", which is deep pink on a spike; Salvia microphylla "Berzerkely" and Salvia sylvestris (S. nemorosa) "Rose Queen" are also pink.

My Trinidad Pink is blooming now- it's a hot pink. Very pretty and a lot of bloom at first and then not so much, but mine is in shade and it says sun. I love it anyway.

Salvia greggii `Big Pink' is hardy to at least zone 7 and is very erect, to 2.5 feet and S. microphylla `Wild Watermelon' is hardy to zone 6 and is a spreader, setting to 4 feet wide and 2 feet tall. Both have larger flowers than most in their species. `Cerro Potosi' is probably a different selection from the same seed lot as `Wild Watermelon'.

`La Trinidad' is mildly stoloniferous and can form quite a robust clump.
