i have a Salvia Leucantha plant and really like the smell of the leafes.

Does anyone know if it is possible to make a tea out of it?

No one I know of has tried it, and I know of no published information.

Deer and rabbits generally don't eat sages, so there may be bitter principles in it.

Thank you for your answere. So i better dont try it.

RE: Salvia Leucantha Tea?

But try Salvia elegans 'Pineapple Sage' or Salvia dorisiana...or of course the cooking sage, Salvia officinalis....however, I prefer British "Builders" tea, Indian, strong, with milk!!! Try anything....but don't get your hopes up! (actually prepared a granita with dorisiana leaves some years ago....that was good...but can't remember how I made it.)
