| We just love our salvia greggii 'Navajo Red'...the hummingbirds love it even more! We planted it last year. It survived the drought while getting established. It was evergreen during the winter here in North Carolina. It has been blooming since April and is full and gorgeous.
My question...are there other "highly recommended" colors/choices for similar performance for our zone 7 in North Carolina?
Other salvia in the garden already include Black&Blue, ulignosia, Caradonna, Marcus, Rose Queen, Luna. I also have another deep pink that is similar in form to the Navajo Red. I don't know the variety, if someone can help me out. I recently transplanted that one and a branch broke off. I just stuck it in the ground and it is rooting!
