Salvias in the new scree garden at the J. C. Raulston Arboretum

Saturday the 19th of May was the annual picnic of the local chapter of the North American Rock Garden Society, held at the J. C. Raulston Arboretum of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. I was told of the new scree garden, in which a lot of Salvias had been planted.

I went to the picnic with my old digital camera and took the images in the web page in the link. Most of these are Salvia greggii hybrids or garden sports.
