I had high hopes for this plant. Nicely shaped (airy small x-mas tree) and very interesting foliage last summer. It is in a four gallon container, located in the container garden on the cement patio. The top of the soil tells me that it is root bound. It held most of it's leaves thru the winter, then started dropping them. Now, after the disapointing (itty bitty sparse white flowers) bloom, it only has folage on the top six to eight inches of the branches.
I am wondering about pruning it. How low do I go? The soil level? New grouth? What little there is... It for sure is getting planted in the "grow if you want" back corner garden.
