Blue Bedder

I'm new at this site, I'm a visitor form the Winter Sowing site. Last year I winter sowed some Blue Bender salvia. The seed pack said it was as perennial. In the Jan. I cut it back, it hasn't started growing yet. Is it to early for it to sprout, or did I lose it. I live in zone 6. Thanks for any help.

    Sorry I ment Blue Bedder, and I found my answer. It isn't very hardy here in zone 6.
