1 gallon chlorotic May Night salvias

| Purchased a few May Nights which are light green and beginning to flower. The soil I planted them in has in the past produced healthy medium green plants. Is there a product I should treat these with? These were lightly root-bound, but not enough to be the main problem. |

| I prefer the soluble liquid chelated iron supplements to the solid and as long as I'm sure the plant needs it (my hibiscus always do), I get one with trace amounts magnesium and manganese as well. I haven't found one brand to be so much better than another to be worth recommending. Are you sure it's chlorosis and not nitrogen deficency or overwatering? Chlorosis typically has that very distinct veining pattern.

| Checked these plants 3 days after planting them and they were looking better already. No veining pattern at all. Thanks for the response Dicot. Perhaps they were over watered at the nursery. ( All I did was plant them and give them a little root stimulator.) |
