Depending on the size of the pot and the square surface area of the leaves, you might be able to keep them going by plunging the plants into damp potting soil for the period. Letting them sit in water is not a good idea, but a thorough watering is.

If you are having low air temps and wind speed, and keep them in the shade, there may be no problem. I'd also check the root system to see if they fill the pot and can hold the potting soil together. If the root system is rather young, I'd place them on something that would allow wicking up of water into the pots. Most plants can survive 12 hours of being wilted if kept cool and if they have good roots.

A cool basement should also work for two days.
