janetr - I just planted 'Marcus' this year, the color is a vibrate blue/purple and a very compact form. I just trimmed the spent spikes this past weekend. I'll see what next year brings, in terms of size, but early indication are that the plant should be no taller than 15-20", including spike.

'Marcus' salvia stands out in several ways from other salvias. Best of all, it doesn't flop over, because it stays low growing. And it blooms for a very long season. It just stays attractive looking for longer than the other salvias. The color is vibrant and deep. It's a winner in my garden, and I have a lot of it.
