Navajo Red?

| I took these photos this morning of my salvia that were labeled as greggii Navajo Red.
Red is a very difficult color to photograph, but it was cloudy and I cut a stem and used our slate and gravel paths as a backdrop to try to capture the correct shade of red bloom.

Cameron: It could be would need a foliage shot to be sure. Rich would be the one to give the identification being it is his plant. My Navajo Red the stem & calyx is more green than black. Art |

| Salvias are the most difficult plants to photograph. I don't know how Robin does it with his fine gallery! Maybe these views will help. Since I write about gardening all the time, I'd really like to get the right ID on this salvia. It's a big star in my butterfly garden. Thanks!
