Considering using Pink Friesland

I have a small flower bed where I had some Red Fox Veronica planted with Thrift Leaf Perky Sue, the color combo was very nice and the differant foliage and bloom shapes looked good as well.

My red fox lasted two growing seasons and then they died out. Anyway, getting to my point, I am considering using Pink Friesland as a replacement for the veronica. Any opinions? I have three other varities of salvia in other beds as well. Would I be over doing it with more salvia?

Without knowing your location and USDA Zone, advice will be difficult to give.

Sorry about that, zone 6, I live in Eastern New Mexico.

If you are on the front Range, extending down from Colorado, you should do quite well. You might want to visit the Denver Botanical Gardens (zone 5) for a fantastic display of European, Asian, and other sages. The show should be getting near its peak now.
