OK robinmi, here is another similar salvia but with larger, purple flowers. Thanks for the last one!

Really not sure about this! Could you send a photo of the whole plant, and the foliage? Flowers look like the Turkish Salvia aucheri, also a bit like Salvia africana....but the leaves don't seem to match!

Salvia dolomotica looks like to me....

Bugger!!!! I think Annette may be right! I have not grown S. dolomitica for years!!!

je possède salvia dolomitica dans mon jardin , la fleur correspond bien mais le feuillage de dolomitica est plus gris .
