Mystery Salvia Please Help Identify

I bought this plant last year at a small nursey on sale at the end of the year. The tag had fallen off. It was on a table with May Night Salvias but it didn't look like them. It sure isn't a May Night now that I have two of them. It came back this Spring and looks beautiful and it attracts bees like crazy. Can anyone tell me what kind it is?

This could be Salvia verticillata.

Thank you so much for the answer!! I have been trying to find out for a whole year what this was and could never find a picture. I had never seen or heard of "Purple Rain" before!!! Thanks again for your help!!! I looked it up and it sure does look exactly like it.
