Q about black and blue...

I understand that these can get pretty tall. Will they still bloom if I keep them cut back? Do they grow pretty fast? I am somewhat new to salvias and wanting to add this particular one to my garden. I want it to go in my front bed, but don't want it to hide my roses.

Your's will probably grow taller than mine, which usually top out at about 3 to 4 feet. Since they bloom on the tips of their stems cutting them back will at least reduce their bloom stalk count. You could try it and see what happens.
