Salvia help, please

I planted several types of Salvia a couple of years ago and

all have done very well. Since we have had mild winters, they have continued to grow and bloom almost continously. I have taken cuttings, given away those that reseed, etc. My question is: when should I trim them back (if not now) and if they are blooming, will it hurt to cut them back now to make them more bushy, rather than leggy.

I have a large Pineapple Sage, with some blooms now but not many, very sprawling and sparse in spots.

I have Coral Nymph that is tall and leggy but still blooming.

I have the Red Tropical Sage that reseeds everywhere. Some are bushy, others leggy.

I have White Victoria (salvia farinacea)

" Blue "

Mystic Spires Blue which gets really tall and the other smaller one as well.

Red Salvia (Salvia Coccinea (Is this the Tropical?)

I have two reds, slighty different but both reseed.

I have a Black and Blue that is spreading and growing, and is really out of shape.

I also have a Blue Sinolensis or something like that that is in bloom now. It is a low grower and is in a pot. If I take some of it out, will it grow taller in the ground?
