Here are some new Salvias for 2005 that I got from Tony Avent at Plant Delights Nursery:

Salvia farinacea x `Henry Duelberg' by Greg Grant found in small central Texas cemetery - looks like it might be a cross with some other Salvia like Purple Stem. Has a farina of deep violet covering floral stem and calyxes.

Salvia farinacea x `Texas Violet' - Also looks like a cross, possibly with reptans. Has a brilliant silver farina covering stems and calyxes

Salvia x jamensis `Pleasant Pink' - no info

Salvia x jamensis `California Sunrise' - looks like a lot of other x jamensis forms

Salvia microphylla lutea - looks a lot like the Huntington microphylla in form, have not checked for the invagination at the base of the flower

Salvia greggii x lycioides (Scott Ogden) - no bloom yet, looks like other forms in habit

Salvia greggii x chamaedryoides `Christine Yeo' - Is this the right cross, or is it microphylla x chamaedryoides? Seems to be very erect, probably rurple flowers.

Salvia repens white - this was hardy for Tony in a typical USDA Zone 7 winter

Can anyone tell me more about these plants?
