Is this a Salvia greggii?

Hi. I bought some plants from the local nursery and the owner told me they were Salvia Greggii. The foliage starts green and then turns chocolate-green. The flowers are on stems that come up a few inches and are very deep blueish purple. It's about 12-18 inches high. I will post a picture later. Anybody have any ideas?

I just found this forum and I thought, "how interesting can Salvias be to have their own forum?" But what is really funny is that as I read some things I discovered I think I have 3 different varieties of salvias growing in one small section of my garden - the one I described above, russian sage, and a puple meadow sage. So, I guess I really like salvias and I didn't even know it!!
