yellow forsythia sage

I've been given a salvia madensis yellow but the only place I have for it gets a fair amount of sun. How much sun is zone 7(atlanta) can i get away with...thanks

Hi. I believe that as long as you keep it out of the afternoon sun you should be ok. I know someone who grows it with dappled afternoon sun and it does beautifully, but no one who lets it get the full afternoon blast.
